GRANDAD'S FRONT PORCH

Grandad’s house still stands, but the front porch is gone. Uncle Revere, a long-time bachelor and school teacher who inherited the homestead, decided he would try married life in hit retirement years. Shortly after his marriage, the porch disappeared. What a disappointment. The porch Grandad built extended across the entire front of the house. It was replaced by a tiny little thing with hardly enough room for two or three people.
